Game 43: Minor continues to struggle, Braves fall 4-1

Mike Minor had a rough outing tonight, getting lit up for four home runs in six innings. What is more concerning to me, though, is that the Braves only managed two hits on Mike Leake, who also hit a home run of his own.

Minor’s struggles have been well documented, but Captiol Avenue Club has a good article preaching patience for the left-hander. His HR/FB rate is concerning, and pitching in Great American Ballpark only exacerbated that. Hopefully his next start at Washington is where Minor’s ERA starts to regress towards his FIP.
